Trombone unlimited
This has many very useful and unusual exercises/studies to develop a trombonist's technique. There is also good commentary on approaches to the different aspects of playing - photos/diagrams would help to clarify some of the points made. I liked the duets at the end which are useful for teachers to make use of. This is a good contribution to the literature on trombone technique. Better proof-reading of the music would be helpful in places.

Still Reviewing
I have bought many books from Encore with little success with the basics. I’m in the process of using this book. It seems promising.

Outstanding
Megumi's book includes very helpful technique explanations and the broadest coverage of technique I have ever seen in one book, including clef, alto, etudes and duet studies. Most important and unusual is that the studies are interesting and beautiful to play. Megumi has demonstrated that technical studies do not need to be boring.
