Michael Mulcahy, of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, has edited this edition of the "Melodious Etudes" for trombone.
In addition to the complete collection (all 120) of Bordogni's Vocalises, Mr. Mulcahy has added extensive text covering interpretation, style, natural and tongued legato and many other important topics.
Clear, error-free notation, some advanced studies in tenor and alto clef, and several complete interpretations by Mr. Mulcahy, make this book the premier edition.

Great collection
This collection is fantastic and a book that I use daily. Everyone knows the Rochut books, but this version lays out the Bordogni in a very easy to read and clean setting. Mulcahy's commentary only improves on things. I should have bought it sooner!

by far the best
This is the way the Melodious Etudes book should have been done in the first place. It is in a class by itself. Simply the best.

Love it
Great book, definitely recommend it for all you trombonist out there.

Mulcahy edition of Melodious Etudes
Great edition, very clear and I like the interpretive spin on some of the etudes provided side-by-side with the original. Fantastic to have all three volumes combined into a single offering, and spiral bound for ease of use and longevity!

ditto
ditto. It is the best. The tenor and alto clefs don't appear until the more difficult etudes. They maybe could have put in a few tenor clef etudes sooner or included one or two etudes twice, once in tenor clef. But, nothing comes close to this book.

The best
I agree with the other reviewers, this is by far the best Bordogni book.

Visually Splendid
Your editors have done a marvelous job. I now use this edition in my own playing and require its use among the members of my studio. Thank you so much for all your work in bringing these fine new editions out for us to enjoy and use in our teaching.

Excellent Bordogni
This is by far the best edition of the Bordogni Melodious Etudes. It has all 120 songs, including the REAL number 1. Beautiful.
