The Arban Method for Trombone and Euphonium is globally acknowledged as the definitive standard for both instruments. With the invaluable contributions of two exceptionally talented brass musicians, this volume brings Arban's remarkable work into the 21st century, infusing his concepts and methods with newfound significance.

Distinguished by its comprehensive content, this is the sole complete Arban Method specifically tailored for trombone and euphonium. Expertly crafted by Mr. Joseph Alessi, the Principal Trombone of the esteemed New York Philharmonic, and Dr. Brian Bowman, a celebrated euphonium soloist, the book features in-depth textual explanations. The spiral binding allows for easy reference and practical use on music stands, as it lays flat without obstruction during practice sessions.

This edition of the Arban Method revitalizes the timeless studies with a contemporary stylistic interpretation, catering to musicians of all proficiency levels who seek to refine their skills. It is important to note that while the international edition of this book on Amazon lacks the convenience of spiral binding, this particular edition is thoughtfully available in spiral-bound format, ensuring utmost ease and accessibility.

Arban -- still the best for brass

Posted by Dave Magill on 16th Sep 2016

By itself this won't make you a great low brass player. You still need to play from it daily!

This is the Arban to get

Posted by W. Pechenski on 15th Jun 2011

Not much to add to the 5 stars. It is Arban and you will get what you expect. It is a great book because it includes Alessi and Bowman text and all of the Arban stuff. It is nicely done.
