    Best book ever

Posted by Jeanne on 3rd Jul 2023

I have worked through this book page by page. The pieces and beautiful. Each one really make you think. With each key change brings different alternate positions for smooth transitions. With each clef change, it keeps you thinking. I always play a game with myself; If I could only have one - well, this would be the one!

    Great collection

Posted by Bryan on 16th Aug 2018

This collection is fantastic and a book that I use daily. Everyone knows the Rochut books, but this version lays out the Bordogni in a very easy to read and clean setting. Mulcahy's commentary only improves on things. I should have bought it sooner!

This is the way the Melodious Etudes book should have been done in the first place. It is in a class by itself. Simply the best.

    Mulcahy edition of Melodious Etudes

Posted by Matt Hodgson on 3rd Sep 2015

Great edition, very clear and I like the interpretive spin on some of the etudes provided side-by-side with the original. Fantastic to have all three volumes combined into a single offering, and spiral bound for ease of use and longevity!

    ditto

Posted by Craig Hawley on 28th Feb 2013

ditto. It is the best. The tenor and alto clefs don't appear until the more difficult etudes. They maybe could have put in a few tenor clef etudes sooner or included one or two etudes twice, once in tenor clef. But, nothing comes close to this book.

Your editors have done a marvelous job. I now use this edition in my own playing and require its use among the members of my studio. Thank you so much for all your work in bringing these fine new editions out for us to enjoy and use in our teaching.
